PETA attacks the Olsens

PETA has madly unleashed the "Hairy-Kate and Trashley" campaign against The Olsen twins for wearing fur, and using it in their clothing lines, Elizabeth and James and The Row.

PETA's negative and tasteless campaign was unveiled at the Olsen's Walk of Fame Star. How clever.

Don't you think that instead of all of this bad energy that PETA puts into the world, they should do something more constructive? Aww, that would be so boring. I could see why they would choose to blow millions of dollars on marketing instead.

Check their stupid website: PETA on Olsens.

Well, you know my thoughts on fur. While I agree that this is very negative - I mean, come on, they aren't exactly the heavy-hitters in the fur world - I suppose PETA is going for the influence over younger women/girls. And they have a point.

Carla, would you have felt the same if they had done Beyonce? Or someone else of whom you are not a fan?

Honestly, though, fur ain't going anywhere. PETA maybe should spend their time making sure the furriers kill in the most humane way possibly.

I bet PETA people eat nuts and berries and smell like BO.

Thoughtful response!

There is something very animalistic, though, about BO. It kind of doesn't bother me. Maybe I am a closeted PETA person.

(PS. Hairy-Kate and Trashley? That's still kinda funny.)
