Bangs are NOT for everyone

Two very cute girls, Kate Hudson and Rachel Bilson, fully apt and capable of pulling off very forward and highly styled looks--are not doing a very good job of sporting the bangs.

It's not easy, I know this. I mean Kate Moss can barely pull them off. I guess this is just further evidence against bangs.

The bangs aren't the problem. It's that they are way too long.

Is it inspired by Rachel Zoe (below, Exhibit C)?


Is it so they can wear them back more easily when a bangless look is desired? How did this become a trend? It really might be better like this than if they were a bit shorter. Maybe it looks a little dirtier, a little less perfect, and that's the appeal. All I know is, it's distracting to me! Just a little trim? Quarter inch?

Exactly! I wish I could just line all of them up and take a snip at each.

P.S. It must suck to look exactly like your arch enemy, like in the case of Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe. It's like the same person (down to the bangs in this case). One of them needs a new hairstyle or something....
