Cavalli Craziness

Yes, Cavalli debuted his affordable line at H&M to gaggles of people who waited all night.

It took two hours for the Europeans to buy it all, but we consuming Americans stayed true to form and managed to snap up all the Cavalli on the first floor of the Fifth Ave. H&M in under two minutes.

Dying for some? Find it for not-so-H&M-prices at ebay. (They're asking $700 for the gold sequined dress!)

In honor of the last home game

Retro Sport by Reebok has some really great team clothing.

I found the retro longhorn (top) on a raglan at Dillard's in Barton Creek Mall. They also have some cool Aggie items, too. Check out the online selection for even more schools.

At Dillard's, too, they had hot little sweats and shorts. It's all got a nice worn-in look.

But they're a little pricey: my tee was $54 and the shorts run $52.

Get out your gloves

What with all the cute shorter-sleeved coats this season, a girl can't be without her gloves!

Nordstrom has some great cashmere, but opera-length leather is where it's at now.

(MK2K coat, $352; leather gloves, Neiman's; Juicy Couture fleece jacket, $298.)

I also like a more unconventional take; tucking your coat into your gloves, or simply wearing leather opera gloves without a jacket.

Wearing Nylon

Nylon magazine has teamed up with Urban Outfitters to bring us a line of limited edition artist designed T-shirts and more.

Should be in 100 U.O. stores nationwide September, and online.

They look like they might be ok. Definite wear-it-once-or-twice then resell at Buffalo Exchange value.

Been thinking of getting high?

Getting high-rise jeans, that is.

Well, I've been doing some research, and I have tried on quite a few pairs.

Verdict: I hate them. I look like a fat ass in mom jeans. J-Brand, Diesel, whatever.... no good.

But I found these and I think they have real potential. Grey Ant can cut some hot f-ing pants.

The style/design is cool, but I'm pretty sure that I loathe this particular shade of denim. It doesn't hit black well; it's too dull for bright colors; and too light for pale colors.

Revolveclothing.com, $286 (so ya better love 'em).
